We’ve put together the top 5 things to do in Sunshine Beach, so that you can get excited and plan your next holiday to Noosa!
1. The BEACH!
If you’re staying in Sunshine Beach, then unsurprisingly spending your holidays having fun at Sunshine beach is a given! What’s special about this beach is that it runs uninterrupted all the way to Coolum and is an impressive 15km.
This entire stretch of soft sand is framed with parkland and a scattering of low-level buildings, making it an idyllic place to relax or get active on. If you’ve brought your pet on holiday, there’s also a designated dog beach next to Noosa National Park.
2. Noosa National Park
Sunshine Beach is right next to Noosa National Park – how perfect is that?! The park can be accessed from the far end of the beach and up the steps. Not only is this an invigorating workout to get to the top, it offers spectacular ocean and beach views all the way to Coolum. Once you’ve torn your eyes away from the view, there’s more to be had throughout the Noosa National Park.
This 40 km² protected land is a sanctuary for rare, native plants and wildlife, so keep your eyes peeled! With plenty of sheltered beaches and lookouts along the coastal walk, and some wilder internal tracks, there’s lots to explore in this stunning park.
3. Sunshine Beach Surf Club
The Sunshine Beach Surf Club is in the premier position for you to soak up unparalleled views of the coast. So, whether you’re visiting for breakfast, lunch, dinner or a drink, the surf club is where it’s at!
Kick back and chill out on one of their decks to enjoy the fresh salty air or dine inside their newly renovated club if that’s more your vibe. Choose from range of classis meals made from fresh ingredients and local produce at an affordable price. As a family friendly club, it’s an ideal venue for big groups and has a kid’s menu.
4. Shopping and dining on Duke Street
Take it easy in Sunshine Beach village, where you’ll find a fab selection of restaurants, cafés and boutique shopping. All huddled together along Duke Street, it’s an easy stroll up and down to find what you want!
Here you’ll get your coffee fix, classic brunch, an Italian lunch, modern Asian cuisine for dinner and cocktails to wind the evening off. And – if you’re looking for some unique boutiques for some beachwear, independent fashion steals or some style inspo, then take a walk along Duke Street.
