Start your journey with a revitalising dip at the main beach, which is a favorite among surfers and bodyboarders.
Whether you’re a newbie or an expert, Coolum Surfing School’s skilled instructors can teach you how to surf. They provide lessons for both individuals and groups. The thrill of gliding across the ocean and riding your first wave is unmatched.
Stroll along the picturesque Coolum Boardwalk, a 600-meter walkway that runs along the coast from the Surf Club to Point Perry. This rocky promontory serves as the southern boundary of Coolum Beach and boasts breathtaking views of the ocean in both directions. Gaze towards the north to see Peregian and Noosa Headland or towards the south to witness First Bay and the rocky cliffs.
If you’re seeking a more thrilling experience, hike up Mount Coolum. The trail begins with an effortless walk through the natural bushland and forest, but becomes more challenging as it rises through rocky terrain. Take a break to catch your breath and soak in the stunning coastal views. The hike takes approximately 1 1/2 hours to complete.
